I recognize that individuals and publications have their own budget, pay scale, guidelines for rights, time lines and complexity. I negotiate fees and schedules based on your specific requirements.

The following rates are provided for budgeting guidance only:

• Newspapers articles and columns: 25 cents per word
• Personal blogs, stories, opinions:  25 cents per word
• Magazines: as per pay scale
• Business:    $2.50 per word, plus incurred travel expenses
• Proof reading, writing advice: $65 per hour
• Books, memoirs and ghostwriting: per project estimate based on duration, plus expenses

All quotes are provided free of charge. Payment is one-third on assignment start, one-third on draft submission, remainder on acceptance of work and may be made via check or Paypal. Details are available on assignment of work.
